At its session of June 3, 2015, the Cabinet endorsed the draft manpower by-law for ministries, government departments and units for fiscal year 2015.

The by-law provides for the creation of 6,590 new jobs, including 5,321 jobs at ministries and government departments, and 1,108 jobs. In addition the by-law provides for the creation of 161 additional jobs at government units aside from those listed in the 2015 Government Units Budgets’ Law.

The by-law also provides for the creation of 2,330 permanent jobs, including 1,423 jobs at ministries and government departments, and 829 jobs at government units. In addition, the by-law calls for the creation of 78 permanent jobs at government units aside from the jobs listed in the 2015 Government Units’ Budgets Law.
